Welcome!

I've been wanting to start a blog for some time now but never did because I wasn't quite sure what to write about. I have so many interests and could see myself writing about a number of different things from crafting and homemaking to make-up and accessories. I wisely decided to leave the fashion blogging to my expert sister-in-law, Erica, http://theprettyfactor.blogspot.com/     So, I sat down and finally realized after a really long time (and completely changing the look and theme of this blog), that I really just want to write about my life. It's easy to feel pressured to produce something magnificent and grand with so many other people writing blogs these days. But I've decided to write from the heart with lots of southern flair. Looking back, it should have been a no brainer!
Now for a little background on me... I grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana and lived there until about 5 years ago when I moved to Orlando, Florida. I haven't been back to Louisiana since moving here- probably the reason why I still get the occasional homesick feeling even though all of my immediate family have migrated to Florida. I began taking dance classes at the age of 3 years old and was singing with my dad from the moment I could hold my own microphone.

I continued dancing in college  and received my Associates degree in Dance Performance from Valencia College a few years ago. I've danced in many dance companies over the years and still continue to keep it a vital part of my life whether it's taking class or attending a performance within the community.

In 2008, I met Justin Mas while working at Macaroni Grill- I didn't know it quite yet, but he would become the love of my life. After a few months of playing chase, I agreed to date him which leaded to getting engaged 9 months later. On March 20,2010, we got married at Tuscawilla Country Club and from that moment on I realized the reason why I moved to Florida.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy reading my blog! Ya'll come back now!
